Shipping and Delivery

We utilize FedEx and UPS shipping options to ensure that your packages arrive in the best possible condition and in the timeliest manner. Due to the perishable nature of our products, they are shipped flash frozen which means they are frozen very quickly at a low temperature and will  defrost in transit. Items that are soft but cool to the touch are safe to be consumed. Upon arrival, the products should be refrozen or refrigerated immediately. Allow 24-72 hours to thaw the products before planning to serve them.

We do not ship on Friday or Saturday so there are NO Sunday or Monday deliveries. Standard delivery is 2-3 business days. Two-day delivery is recommended, especially during the warmer months due to the perishable nature of our products. We ask for the date the product is to be shipped; not the date of delivery/arrival. If there is no date to ship, we will ship the product within 24-48 hours of our next shipping date.

*NOTE* The Cajun Turkey Company is not responsible for incomplete or incorrect shipping information on orders. The customer must ensure that addresses are accurate. Additional charges will be incurred to re-ship any product.

We make every attempt to adhere to the tables below as much as possible but holidays and unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to, any act of God, weather, pandemics, protests, and riots can force exceptions to the shipping and delivery schedule. We will abide by the rules and regulations set forth by FedEx and UPS for shipping conditions and restrictions. If for any reason, the FFA grounds planes or ground delivery services are interrupted due to weather, pandemics, rioting, or any act of God and the scheduled delivery is missed, under no circumstances will The Cajun Turkey Company be responsible for the delay of your shipment or the spoilage of the product.

No orders are shipped the day they are ordered.

Addresses

All shipments require a street address; no PO Boxes, APO or FPO addresses. If shipping to a business, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the business is open and accepting deliveries. Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses voids our guarantee. We do not ship to Canada or over-seas. Hawaii and Alaska may require an additional fee.

Changes and Cancellations

Changes to orders must be received at least 5 business days before the requested ship date.

Receipt and Inspection of Product

Orders should be inspected immediately upon arrival. The Cajun Turkey Co. must be notified next business day after delivery of any issues or concerns. No refunds after this time. We do not accept returns.

If you are shipping to an area inside the PINK or the LIGHT BLUE areas, you should safely receive your products by ground delivery within 1-2 business days. Outside of these two color-coded areas, it is NOT recommended to ship by ground – especially during warmer temperatures.

Outside the PINK and LIGHT BLUE areas requires 3-4 days shipping in most cases and our products may not be safe to consume.

If you are shipping to an ORANGE or GREEN color-coded area, you will need to select a 2-Day Air or an Over-night option for the safety of your products. We can only accept this mode of transportation to these areas for the safe consumption of our products.

Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii MUST ship Priority Overnight.

We cannot ship outside of the United States due to customs regulations.

Holiday Ordering and Delivery

We highly recommend ordering early with delivery dates to arrive the week before the holiday. Shipping services are often overwhelmed during the holidays and do not guarantee deliveries. We make every effort to see that your order ships per your request, but we have no control over the shipping companies that deliver the packages. Please contact us directly with any concerns and questions. We can provide up to date order cut-off dates/times for your shipping needs.

For bulk orders or corporate gifts, please call us at 972-318-0307 to speak with a team member. Our hours are Monday – Friday, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We are closed on Sunday.
