Red Beans with Andouille Sausage: is an emblematic dish of Louisiana Creole cuisine traditionally made on Mondays with red beans, vegetables (bell pepper, onion, and celery), spices (thyme, cayenne pepper, and bay leaf) and andouille sausage as left over from Sunday dinner, cooked together slowly in a pot and served over rice. Rice is not included. Each order comes with 32 oz or 2 pounds of product. Feeds 4-8 servings depending on serving size. ( Now you can enjoy Red Beans every day not just on Mondays : )
Defrost product in pan of tap water. On stove, bring a pot of water to a boil. Reduce to simmer and add bag of thawed product. Heat for 8-10 minutes until hot.
