Ole Boudreaux and his good friend Trosclair, back down on da bayou have hand selected only da finest turkeys to be prepared just for you! Each of dem cajun turkeys weigh in at 10-12 pounds, and our turkey breast comes in two sizes .. 6-7 pounds and 8-9 pounds. Boudreaux has taken special care of each and every dem dar turkeys to get dem all certified with da U.S.D.A. certificate. He has also seen dat they’s all injected with de-pepper and spice juice we’d call it … Geaux Juice!! Aft-ta dem turkeys been injected they be hand rubbed with da dry spices and then das sit around and marinate over night and dem Deep Fried in dat Peanut Oil … Oooeee!!! This here locks in all dem spices to make dis da best taste’n turkey you ever done put in your mouth.

How to Cook a Tur-Duc-Hen:

Take the Tur-Duc-Hen completely out of the packaging and place it in a pan. You may line the pan with aluminum foil. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Then cook the Tur-Duc-Hen for four and one half hours covered with legs pointing up and one hour uncovered or until browned. If your Tur-Duc-Hen is frozen, allow it to thaw two days in the refrigerator. If partially frozen cook for six hours or to an internal temperature of 165. Internal temperature for a cooked Tur-Duc-Hen should be 160-180 degrees! Remove woven threading before serving.

How to Slice a Tur-Duc-Hen:

Cut the Tur-Duc-Hen long ways from head to butt (you will have two halves). Slice across from leg to leg, wing to wing.

How Much does a Tur-Duc-Hen Weigh: 15 pounds.

Does the Tur-Duc-Hen Contain any MSG or Preservatives: No. The Tur-Duc-Hen is prepared with all natural products.

Can I Deep-Fry a Tur-Duc-Hen: No. There are no bones to support the Tur-Duc-Hen.

Can I Grill or Smoke a Tur-Duc-Hen: Yes. Set the Tur-Duc-Hen on aluminum foil, so it does not stick to the grill; or set in an aluminum pan. Put a thermometer in the grill. At 350 degrees, place the Tur-Duc-Hen on the grill/smoker and cook accordingly.

Do I Need to Baste the Tur-Duc-Hen: No. The Tur-Duc-Hen is already seasoned and ready to go. However, if you would like to baste the Tur-Duc-Hen feel free, too much of a good thing does not hurt!

Getting Started

Don’t worry if, upon its arrival, your turkey or ham has thawed a bit on the outside & is a little warm to the touch. Before we ship it to you we’d keep it –10 degrees and we wrap him up reals good so it will still be cold deep inside. All our products are fully cooked, and you can keep them fresh in da ice box for another two weeks or because of the nice packaging job Boudreaux and his friends done did … yous can re-freeze it for another six months. De best thing about our turkeys & ham is theys already fully cooked so ya’ll can eat them hot or cold. However, da Geaux Juice flows through the turkey meat a lot better if it’s warmed. For the best results let your turkey completely thaw in the icebox. Then you can serves it chilly .. or for better results …… goes to da next section for da heat’n instructions.

Warming Instructions

First, remove the plastic bag, ( if there is any juice in the bag pour it in the pan you plan to heat the turkey or ham in, this makes good gravy later ) next leave the turkey or ham in the foil it’s wrapped in. This will help hold all dem juices inside .. mmmmm… dats good!!! Then slide the pan in your pre-heated oven at 325 degrees for about one hour, the turkey breast & 1û2 honey glazed ham for about 30-40 minutes. The cooking time will be determined by how cold dem birds & hams was when they goes in da oven … REMEMBER EVERYTHING IS COOKED … YOU ONLY WANTS TO WARM THEM .. OVER COOK’EN DEM WILL DRY DEM OUT… If you got a bottle of our World Famous Geaux Juice … after yous slice your turkey please pours a bit of this magic sauce on each serving … Aiee dats good!! If yous got some left over use it for grill’n chicken, fish, or shrimp. … it’s make Dem Geaux Too!!!

Alls the turkeys & turkey breasts are injected wit da Geaux Juice soos when you cut da meat yous gonna sees all da spices & juices. So some dem parts gonna be spicier than others … Hoo – ya – yeeee!!!
